Northwood waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over the Calvin Cougars. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Northwood was led to victory by Landon Tinsley and Jahari Mccoy. Tinsley almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds, while Mccoy posted 14 points and four steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Tinsley has scored at least a third of Northwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Fisher, who put up seven points.

Northwood's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Calvin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Northwood will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Bolton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvin, they will venture away from home to challenge Choudrant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
