Basketball Game Preview: Wolverine Wildcats vs. Boyne Falls Loggers

Wolverine and Boyne Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Wolverine Wildcats will be playing at home against the Boyne Falls Loggers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Wolverine and seven for Boyne Falls dating back to last season.

Last Wednesday, Wolverine was beaten by Ellsworth 65-30.

Meanwhile, Boyne Falls took a blow against Alanson on Friday, falling 65-9.

Wolverine's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Boyne Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Wolverine strolled past Boyne Falls in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 57-40. Will Wolverine repeat their success, or does Boyne Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
