Wheatland-Grinnell posted their closest victory since September 13th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Colby Eagles 2-1. For the Thunderhawks, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Natalie Bixenman paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bixenman got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 29 assists. Bixenman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Marissa Beckman, each putting up two.

Wheatland-Grinnell is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Colby, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
