South Fork dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 56-32 to the Tomales Braves. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

As for Tomales, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.7 points over those games.

The critical scores for Tomales came from Ivan Gonzalez, Shaun Pelayo, Erick Dominguez, and Cole Furlong.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. South Fork will head out to square off against Calistoga at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cubs will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
