Basketball Recap: Talan Blankenship Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Temple Christian

There's no place like home for Gilead Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Temple Christian Crusaders by a score of 48-36 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won four in a row.

Gilead Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Talan Blankenship, who went 7-for-12 en route to 21 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Blankenship has scored at least a third of Gilead Christian's points. Aden Wagner was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
