Basketball Recap: Joaquin Comes Up Short

Joaquin lost against Timpson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Joaquin Rams had to suffer through a 70-34 loss at the hands of the Timpson Bears. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-20.

Timpson's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joaquin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Waskom at 2:30 p.m. on December 31st. Joaquin is facing Waskom at the right time seeing as Waskom is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Timpson also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Gary at 3:30 p.m. on December 31st.
