Softball Recap: New Home Comes Up Short

New Home lost against Sundown back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leopards came up short against the Roughnecks, falling 18-2. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Home saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madi Ford, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

New Home's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sundown, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Home will challenge rival Morton at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sundown is set to take on their familiar foe Post at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
