It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Three Rivers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kaufer Seahawks as they made off with a 10-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Three Rivers got a massive performance out of James Contreras, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Contreras a new career-high. Dylan Ender also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Three Rivers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Three Rivers is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kaufer, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Three Rivers will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seahawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
