Softball Game Preview: Princeton Panthers vs. Prosper Eagles

Princeton hasn't had much luck against Prosper recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will challenge the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Princeton fell victim to Plano West and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Wolves.

Allen hit Prosper with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Prosper came up short against Allen, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, Prosper couldn't push the score so high this time.

Prosper saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giuliana Parks, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Prosper, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Princeton might still be hurting after the 17-1 loss they got from Prosper in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
