Mishawaka had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Niles on Tuesday. The Cavemen put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Cavemen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

Mishawaka's offense was headlined by Alex Lowery and Ellie Adams, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Cassie Creech and her 34 assists.

Mishawaka's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Niles, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mishawaka will square off against Jimtown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Niles, they will venture away from home to take on Vicksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
