Softball Preview: Lebanon Tigers vs. Southmont Mounties
The Lebanon Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Southmont Mounties at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lebanon will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Lafayette Central Catholic on Friday. Lebanon blew past Lafayette Central Catholic 12-2.
Krryn Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Miller has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Miller was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs.
In other batting news, Hannah Wilborn was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Sophie Robison, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a triple.

Southmont got a massive performance out of Mallory Mason, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Grino, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.
Lebanon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Southmont, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.
