It was a good run, but Suncoast unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They were beaten by the Olympia Titans 73-41. The contest marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Suncoast's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-2. As for Olympia, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Suncoast will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Treasure Coast at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Olympia also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against University Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025. Olympia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully University Christian likes a good challenge.
