Sabine made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tatum, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Sabine Cardinals never let the Tatum Eagles onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sabine's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4-1. As for Tatum, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabine will welcome Carthage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabine is facing Carthage at the right time seeing as Carthage is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tatum, they will take on Center at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
