Volleyball Recap: Morgan Find Success

While Morgan's victory against Mountain Crest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Morgan was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-14, 27-29, 26-24, 15-5.

Despite the loss, Mountain Crest had strong showings from Ella Malm, who had seven digs and four aces, and Annie Barber, who had six digs and three blocks.

Morgan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Morgan has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against North Summit on the 13th. As for Mountain Crest, they will venture away from home to take on Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
