It's playoff time, and Mission Bay had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Buccaneers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Spencer Morton, who's now up to eight this season.

Mission Bay's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five games. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Coming up, Mission Bay will face off against Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. Canyon Crest Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
