Softball Recap: Martinsburg Bulldogs vs. Hancock Panthers
Martinsburg had lost nine games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-14 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Hancock Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers on Wednesday, they had to take a 12-5 loss.
The result came thanks to Olivia Mullin's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.

On the hitting side, Tianna Sanabria was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Danayja Williams, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Martinsburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
As for Hancock, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.
On Hancock's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makensie Boyer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Boyer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martinsburg will host Spring Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hancock, they will face off against Williamsport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
