Volleyball Recap: Fayetteville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fayetteville waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Victory Christian Lions by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fayetteville took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13.

Kenleigh McArthur paced Fayetteville's offense, picking up eight kills. McArthur got some help from Isabella Kelley and her 11 assists. McArthur was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Fayetteville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Victory Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Fayetteville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Wellborn on the 23rd. Victory Christian has also already played their next contest (against Coosa Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
