Football Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Southeast's offense. They took a blow against the Crestview Rebels on Friday, falling 42-0. Having soared to a lofty 53 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jake Noling produced another solid performance rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 158 yards and a pair of TDs for Crestview. Trevor Mcelhaney was another key player, rushing for 68 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Southeast now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Crestview, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast will challenge rival Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crestview is set to take on their familiar foe Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
