Bridgeland has gone 8-2 against Cypress Ranch recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bridgeland Bears will challenge the Cypress Ranch Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Bridgeland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Cypress Lakes get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, Cypress Ranch hadn't done well against Cypress Woods recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cypress Ranch put the hurt on Cypress Woods with a sharp 12-6 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Cypress Ranch let Naomi Walker and Rylie Skibbe run wild. Walker went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Skibbe went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Skibbe has posted since back in April of 2024. Darian Bridges also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Cypress Ranch lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Cypress Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Bridgeland pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Bridgeland beat Cypress Ranch 4-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bridgeland since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
