Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Eagles are ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Martinsville came up short against Bassett on Wednesday and fell 41-34. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magna Vista has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Martinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
