Basketball Recap: Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats vs. Stockton Christian Eagles
The Stockton Christian Eagles typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 59-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ben Holt College Prep Academy.
Tayden Collins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 22 rebounds. Collins is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sahil Singh, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Stockton Christian had strong showings from Sam Weaver, who scored 15 points, and Brandon Williams, who scored 20 points. Chris Williams was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Ben Holt College Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Stockton Christian, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-6.
