Basketball Game Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Monroe Cheesemakers

The Big Foot Chiefs will face off against the Monroe Cheesemakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Big Foot was beaten by East Troy 74-33. The Chiefs have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 64-23 defeat at the hands of Turner. While losing is never fun, the Cheesemakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 437th, while the Trojans are ranked 130th).

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Big Foot, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything came up roses for Big Foot against Monroe when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 52-25 win. Does Big Foot have another victory up their sleeve, or will Monroe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
