Soccer Recap: Hempstead Comes Up Short

Hempstead managed to slip by Wilton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 4-0 to the Beavers on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Hempstead have lost by exactly four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Hempstead and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Wilton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Hempstead will square off against Bettendorf at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wilton, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Clinton on the 8th.
