Volleyball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the East Central Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for East Central, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wayne County is set to challenge their familiar foe Northeast Jones at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Central will face off against rival Purvis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
