Football Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rangeview was the 30-26 winner over Vista PEAK Prep when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 41-40 to the Bison. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyson Tuck threw for 62 yards and one touchdown. Keylen Mack was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Kylen Mack rushed for 264 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Vista PEAK Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyrone Smiley led the charge by rushing for 180 yards and three scores, while also throwing for five yards and one TD. Smiley has become a key player for the Bison: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Isaiah Watson was another key pass catcher, picking up 121 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.

Rangeview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 52-30 loss against Mullen on the 31st. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 59-35 defeat against Legacy on the 30th.
