Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Lawrence County's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Lawrence County won the last time they faced Franklin County and things went their way on Friday too. The Lawrence County Wildcats walked away with a 44-36 win over the Franklin County Rebels. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Rebels are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lawrence County has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
