Two dominant backs in Cruse Coleman and Braun Johnson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Henrietta Bearcats will take on the Millsap Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Henrietta will be strutting in after a victory while Millsap will be coming in after a defeat.
Henrietta will bounce into Friday's game after beating Holliday, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bearcats blew past the Eagles 55-34 on Friday. The Bearcats pushed the score to 48-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.
Henrietta's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chaden Clark led the charge by throwing for 183 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground.
Henrietta was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 326 rushing yards. They are 5-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Henrietta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Cooper Coleman, Cooper Gee, and Gage McDonald picked up one apiece. McDonald is becoming a predictor of Henrietta's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, Millsap took a blow against City View on Friday, falling 53-14. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Although Millsap took the loss, they still got scores from Johnson and Miles Griffin.
Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Henrietta, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Henrietta has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 227.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Millsap struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 196.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Henrietta was taken down by Millsap 55-28 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Bearcats, Reid Green (who rushed for 218 yards and three scores while picking up 8.7 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
