Soccer Recap: Clay Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clay can now relate to. They came up short against the Fleming Island Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 28th).

Clay's loss dropped their record down to 14-3-1. As for Fleming Island, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-1-6.

As of now, neither Clay nor Fleming Island have any future games scheduled.
