Basketball Recap: Comer Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Comer won against Altamont last Thursday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Comer Tigers walked away with a 63-51 win over the Lincoln Golden Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-62 back in December of 2024.

Comer is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Comer will head out to square off against Midfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Comer sitting on four straight victories and Midfield on nine. As for Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cedar Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
