Baseball Recap: Hughson Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

On Saturday, the Hughson Huskies beat the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos 8-4.

Lawson Aviles was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.

Hughson pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Twelve Bridges, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hughson will head out to face off against Ripon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hughson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Twelve Bridges, they are taking a road trip to square off against Inderkum at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twelve Bridges is facing Inderkum at the right time seeing as Inderkum is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
