Miles Russell gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Even though Russell couldn't lead Westview over Oceanside, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Russell's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wolverines' seven-game streak of wins on the road.
