Soccer Game Preview: Donahue Catholic vs. Community School of Naples

The Donahue Catholic Shamrocks will head out to square off against the Community School of Naples Seahawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Donahue Catholic will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Donahue Catholic's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Southwest Florida Christian out 1-0.

Meanwhile, Community School of Naples entered their tilt with Marco Island Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Rays 2-1. That's two games straight that the Seahawks have won by just one goal.

Donahue Catholic pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Community School of Naples, the win got them back to even at 7-7-3.

Donahue Catholic came up short against Community School of Naples when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Donahue Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
