Basketball Recap: Orange Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Orange extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Naveah Holmes. The Tornadoes walked away with a 61-53 win over the East Orange Campus Jaguars on Monday for which the team can thank Holmes, who went 7-for-9 from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Orange's points.

Another player making a difference was Phoenix Fraser, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last nine times she's played.

Orange's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for East Orange Campus, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Orange is taking a road trip to face off against West Side at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Orange Campus, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bloomfield at 4:00 p.m.
