Basketball Recap: Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 65-42 to Avail Academy. The match marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Avail Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Math & Science Academy will square off against St. Charles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Avail Academy will take on Academy for Sciences & Agriculture in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at. Avail Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 227 points over their last three games.
