The Williams Vikings posted their biggest victory since December 28, 2023 on Saturday. They breezed by Grand Canyon at home to the tune of 73-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Williams has posted against Grand Canyon since January 12, 2022.

Kai Mortensen continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braydyn Larimore, who scored 27 points along with five assists and two steals.

Grand Canyon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Xochitl Galvan, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Galvan hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Jordyn Wadsworth was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 12 rebounds.

Grand Canyon struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Williams racked up 19 assists.

Williams is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Grand Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Williams and Seligman will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Seligman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon and Ash Fork will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Ash Fork is ranked 270th, while Grand Canyon is ranked 262nd).
