The Churchland Truckers will challenge the Denbigh Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Churchland's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Norcom 15-0. The game marked the Truckers' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Jestice Hill, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Reynolds, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
Churchland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.8.
Meanwhile, Denbigh hadn't done well against Woodside recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 22-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.
London Fate made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Fate was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alieyah Bullock was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Savannah Daniels was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Churchland's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Denbigh, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Churchland has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Denbigh struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Churchland's way against Denbigh when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Churchland made off with a 16-2 win. Do the Truckers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
