Volleyball Recap: Yukon Comes Up Short

Yukon lost against Westmoore back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Millers came up short against the Jaguars, falling 3-0.

Yukon took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-20.

Leading Westmoore to victory were Oakley Bryce and Ivy Dang. Bryce had five digs and two aces, while Dang had nine digs and two assists. Those nine digs gave Dang a new career-high.

Yukon's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westmoore, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Yukon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Norman on the 21st. As for Westmoore, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bixby on the 16th.
