Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-0 victory over the Sycamore Aviators. The Middies' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Middletown's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Sycamore, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Middletown is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakota West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Middies 6.2, the Firebirds 14) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Sycamore will challenge rival Colerain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
