Basketball Game Preview: Wilder Wildcats vs. Compass Charter Aviators

The Wilder Wildcats will head out to square off against the Compass Charter Aviators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Wilder beats Compass Charter with 51 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Wilder came out on top against Greenleaf Friends Academy by a score of 51-43 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Compass Charter had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over the Indians.

Wilder now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Compass Charter, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Wilder came up short against Compass Charter in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, falling 53-47. Thankfully for Wilder, Max Myers (who went 10 for 13 on his way to 29 points and eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
