Pahranagat Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Sandy Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Sidewinders at 1:00 p.m. Pahranagat Valley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Tuesday, Pahranagat Valley got the win against Beaver Dam by a conclusive 16-1. Considering the Panthers have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sandy Valley and Liberty Baptist Academy meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Sidewinders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-1 to the Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Sidewinders in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pahranagat Valley pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Sandy Valley, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Everything went Pahranagat Valley's way against Sandy Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Pahranagat Valley made off with an 11-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
