Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Academy Comes Up Short

Cathedral Academy was the 2-0 winner over Fort Dorchester when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals fell 3-1 to the Patriots on Wednesday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18.

Cade Ridgway had an outrageously good game for Fort Dorchester as he had 30 digs. What's more, Ridgway posted two kills, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Cathedral Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fort Dorchester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cathedral Academy will challenge Summerville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Dorchester, they will face off against Hanahan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
