Volleyball Recap: Snow Canyon Has No Trouble Against Riverton

Snow Canyon's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Riverton Silverwolves as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Silverwolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Snow Canyon was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-20.

Carleigh Spafford was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces.

Spafford wasn't the only good server: Snow Canyon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Snow Canyon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Riverton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Snow Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Manti on the 9th. Riverton has also already played their next game (against Uintah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
