Football Recap: Lawrenceville Indians vs. Mt. Carmel Golden Aces
Lawrenceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 42-16 to the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Indians struggled afterwards.
Mt. Carmel found their leader in sophomore Shain Meador, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliott Acree, who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Lawrenceville's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mt. Carmel, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
As of now, neither Lawrenceville nor Mt. Carmel have any future games scheduled.
