Basketball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

Lakeview lost against Portage Northern back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lakeview Spartans fell just short of the Portage Northern Huskies by a score of 70-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (63), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

Lakeview now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Portage Northern, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Lakeview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-47 win against Central on the 17th. Portage Northern has also already played their next contest (against Mattawan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
