Tri-Village won against Twin Valley South last Friday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Patriots claimed a resounding 55-22 win over the Ansonia Tigers. Fans of the Patriots have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Trey Sagester was his usual excellent self, throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 35 yards. 117 of Sagester's passing yards were hauled in by Griffin Richards.

The victory keeps Tri-Village at an undefeated 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.2 points on average this season. As for Ansonia, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-2.

Tri-Village and Ansonia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Patriots will take on Mississinawa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (158 vs. 616). The two teams have allowed few points on average (Tri-Village 9.2, the Blackhawks 10.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Ansonia (ranked 259th) will meet Twin Valley South (ranked 573rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
