Soccer Game Preview: Dublin Jerome vs. Olentangy

The Dublin Jerome Celtics will challenge the Olentangy Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dublin Jerome comes in on three and Olentangy on four.

Olentangy better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Dublin Jerome's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Dublin Jerome really gets things going. The Celtics never let Worthington Kilbourne get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Dublin Jerome have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Pedro Ferreira Maamud and Crew Maust scored all three of Dublin Jerome's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Olentangy sidestepped Hilliard Darby for a 1-0 victory. Given Olentangy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Hilliard Darby are ranked 86th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dublin Jerome's win bumped their record up to 7-2-4. As for Olentangy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0-2.
