York waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They put the hurt on the Lyons Lions with a sharp 13-6 win. Considering the Dukes have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Danny Raible looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Owen Chael was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five RBI and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Marco Giorno was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

York pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Lyons, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
