Baseball Recap: North Rowan Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for North Rowan's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Salisbury Hornets on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

North Rowan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Salisbury, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

North Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salisbury, they will be playing at home against Page at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.19 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
