Morgan Fairbourne was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Springville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spanish Fork). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Timpview a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Anaca Olsen looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Paisley Ross was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jade Romero, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Springville's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Spanish Fork, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
