While Granbury's victory against Trinity wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Trojans 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted against the Trojans since August 20, 2019.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Granbury got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-19.

Masyn Noe paced Granbury's offense, picking up nine kills. Noe got some help from Mallory Blum and her 15 assists. Kyndal Cardwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Granbury's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Trinity, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Granbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against El Dorado on the 22nd. Trinity has also already played their next game (against Johnson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
